Picnics Under the Moon

just add petals...

Charmaine tweeted this great photo of a side table makeover using our Petal Pusher wallpaper - I LOVE the after! Very stylish and a really beautiful example of what a big difference a little wallpaper can make. Thanks, Charmaine!

It was fun to see our Red Daydream in this month's In Style Makeover! The project looks super easy to do and would be adorable in a bedroom or bathroom. I may give it a try as my current jewelry storage (i.e. toss everything in my bottom dresser drawer) leaves a lot to be desired in the way of organization...

The In Style feature reminds me of the project that I'm going to try and do this weekend for our newest blog, WIY (Wallpaper it Yourself) on our newest site, Hygge Cooperative. Please take a look as Christiana has a couple projects that you'll be dying to WIY up there now!

Hygge Cooperative is a small collection of other wallpapers that we have admired and been inspired by in the past - Erica Wakerly, Tres Tintas and Makelike, plus those of you who've known us since the start remmenber that we had an extensive collection of ferm LIVING - you can find that over there as well.

One of my favorite things about Hygge Cooperative is our Walls to Wardrobe collection. We'll be rotating it periodically with things that we come across that we just absolutely fall in love with. I'm a big handbag girl, and the Larissa Hadijo bags that we have there now are TO DIE FOR. I've been rocking the squid bag this summer and it never fails to get noticed...

Hygge Email

Picture 2
We received the loveliest email yesterday from Anna, who'd purchased a yard of Daydream in blue.  She wrote, "I just wanted to send on a photo of a yard of Julia Rothman's wallpaper that I have up in my office at work.  My back is to the window so I can welcome people coming into the office (I'm the coordinator for an academic department, so need to be welcoming!), but this is what I look at all day long and it's just as beautiful as a "real" view -- it brings a bit of the outdoors in!  I just had the paper mounted on some foam board and stuck it directly to the wall. I love this wallpaper and so many people come in and comment on it -- I think it brightens everyone's day :)  Her email brightened our day, for sure!!  Thank you, Anna!

Oh, and we're happy to sell our wallpapers by the yard.  Just email us to find out if the design you like is available in a remnant roll!

We donated some wallpaper to Dwell with Dignity a while back and recently came across photos of the very ingenious ways that they used it - this dresser featuring Nethercote is just beautiful! (Via StyleSwoon)

And this art piece with an Amaze-ing background is just stunning - I love the way that it works with the colors of the bedding. (Via Dwell with Dignity's blog) We're so happy to see our wallpaper being put to such good use!

the cutest shoe rack ever

Shoe+Rack+by+SAMG

I wasn't lying, right? This adorable shoe rack is from Sam's Blog - can you believe someone was throwing it away? Well lucky for us, Sam found it, gave it some love and put some wallpaper on it. Thanks, Sam for sending us the link!
