Christiana found this fabulous chair by one of our favorite designers, Ruth Cross and we decided to use it as our 3 + Wallpaper for today. So here it is in all its knit upholstered coziness - love. I added Nethercote in white, a colorful ikat-inspired rug from Anthropologie and this photographer's lamp from Sundance. I could actually see these things in my living room right now - they'd work great with my 10 year old (and so very broken in) brown leather Restoration Hardware sofa, chair and ottoman.
The knit upholstery inspires me to pick the knitting needles back up - this would be a great starter project (if you are too busy to knit, we've got similar booties on sale here). Not too much of a time commitment and a lovely gift for ALL my friends who have just had, or are expecting, babies. I'm in the midst of a huge baby boom right now and every time I see a pregnant friend or hold a baby, I literally ACHE for another baby... Since that's not going to happen, instead I'll just enjoy babysitting and heading home afterward to sleep soundly through the night :)
