You could say I won the "where my mom is from" lottery - my mother was
born and raised in Honolulu. We try to get back every other year so our
kids get to know their Hawaiian family and so I can share things from
my childhood visits (shave ice!) with them. So for the next week, I'll
be posting about hygge Hawaii-style.
